Hummer Egypt - Me and H3 at Edfu Temple in Egypt.
Hello from Egypt! This is Hummerhamen bear, a descendant of the famed
Egyptian Kings of the Pyramids. Here at my side is my favorite H3. Well,
we are now at Edfu Temple on the west bank of Nile River, where the
Egyptian falcon-god Horus is worshipped. This temple was probably built
between 237-57 BC. Inside is a sculpture of Horus as well as the walls
have relief illustrations and wall inscriptions that tells us about
Egypt during the Graeco-Roman times.
So, imagine if people would look up to me like that and make me temple
and also a bear statue.
Well, I would ask for maiden sacrifices. Haha. Food offerings would make
me fat as ever.
I will declare everyday a bear-feast day. Cool. That is better than a
king, being a bear-god.
Okay, back to Egypt, I'll head out for Cairo later. How about a visit to
the mummies at the
Egyptian Museum? Wow. Also, I like to go further southwest so I can take
my very own
pictures of the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.

Well, Egypt is not just about educational trips on ancient
history. There are shopping, dining and leisure destinations as well.
I have yet to try Kushari a local favorite dish. It's actually pasta,
rice, lentils, chickpeas and macaroni put together. It is garnished with
garlic, vinegar and sweet onions. This vegetarian dish can also be added
with shawarma for those who like meat. |
