Hummer Spain - Me and H2 infront of Alcala Gate in Madrid.
Amigos del buen día! Good day my friends. Today, my Hummer H2 and I are
touring around
the beautiful city of Madrid. At my back is a monument called Puerta de
Alcala which
stands proudly at Plaza de la Independencia (Independence Square).
I had a stroll at Parque del Buen Retiro (Park of Pleasant Retreat)
which is just nearby.
It is one of the city's attractions. Inside the park is a rose garden
(Rosaleda),
a sculpture by Ricardo Bellver (Fountain of the Falling Angel) and
buildings which
have been used for international exhibitions like Velasquez Palace &
Palacio de Crystal.
Speaking of palaces, I think I like a Crystal Mansion for myself and
live like a bear king.
Oh well, forget it. I'm always touring the world anyway.

Being an art lover, I also visited Museum del Prado which
is also in the vicinity. They own a big collection of European art which
dates back from 12-19th century. Paintings by Francisco Goa, Diego
velazquez, Hieronymus Bosch and other Spanish painting masters are
exhibited here. Oh, I just wish I can paint as good and be the first
ever bear painting master.
How about a sandwich filled with Spanish Sardines for snack? Though I'm
not actually sure
if Spain and Spanish sardines are actually related. My other favorite
here is tortilla de patatas, or what we call Spanish omelette, which has
fried potatoes inside. Oh my! I almost forgot Senorita Isabella, who I
came to know from this Spanish dating
page, how could I forget about her asking me to bring
her some pastillas? I must be getting old. |
