Hummer Taiwan - H2 at Kinmen Island.
Hello my friends! Here I am with my Hummer H2 at Kinmen (Jinmen,
formerly Wuzhou/ Xianzhou) Island, Taiwan. The house at my back is an
example of Southern Fujian architecture,
other structures with the same style can be seen all over the island.
"Kinmen", literally means Golden Gate, was so named because of the
island's strategic location. The island boasts of historical relics, an
example is the Wentai Pagoda which dates back to the reign of Ming
Dynasty. There is also the Taihu Recreation area at the center of Lake
Tai, a large man made lake. Also at Kinmen is the peculiar looking
statues of the Wind Lion God that can be found at village entrances.

Taiwan, on the other hand is a place that has both towering
mountains and skyscrapers.
It is home to Jade Mountain, the tallest mountain in Northeast Asia.
Meanwhile, Taipei 101
a skyscraper which dominates Taipei's skyline with 101 floors is the
"world's tallest completed skyscraper".
Prior to my trip here, I never expected that Taiwan has a lots of sights
to offer from mountains and nature to historical places to the most
modern buildings. I enjoyed my stay in Taiwan very much and not only
because of a lovely chinese girl which i knew from this
Taiwan Dating page. |
